5 music videos I enjoy

Below are 5 music videos which I like and for research when making our music videos I wanted to show the ones I like and whether myself and Eleanor can see any editing techniques, camera shot, mise-en-scene (which might be difficult due to location) and sounds we'd like to use to inspire our music video.

'See You Again'- Charlie Puth
I like this video because of the connection the song and it's video has with the film collection 'Fast and Furious'. The song is also a way of remembering one of the main actors who sadly died but throughout the video they use clips of the films and the mise-en-scene with the cars etc. really makes the video relate to the films. I also like the shots and panning of Charlie Puth playing piano against the sunset.

'S.L.U.T.'-Bea Miller
I like this song because its very bright and goes very well with the song which is quite empowering. I really like the editing with multiple videos on one frame that's used a lot in the video and goes well with the beat.

'Everybody Hates Me'- The Chainsmokers
The reason I like this music video is because the lighting is very different to a lot of others, and the majority is shot at night so the lighting is more neon. When there are shots of the band playing the projection really work well and I liked the use of the light up masks.

'Personal'- The Vamps
I like this video because of the cut backs to the singers being younger and how they've evolved together.

'God Only Knows'- MKTO
I like this video because the songs implies that they're singing about a person whether that's each other, a girl or someone else, however the video actually indicates they're singing about a video game.
